To take part on any journey in an unhospitable and exotic land such as Morocco, where the unexpected can always occur, the right equipment and correct mode of transport is indispensable. We consider no better motorbike has been designed to deal with the rocky mountain tracks, deep sandy riverbeds, vast dry desert lakes, sand and dunes than the ones we have – KTM 450 EXCs.
This Austrian company has since its beginnings, lived for the world of enduro, and is to date probably the best known in the world of two wheels.
The KTM 450 minimizes pilot fatigue on longer off-road trips
KTM was our choice for the off-road tours we offer in Morocco and Andorra, in particular the 4 stroke KTM 450 EXC. The variety of changing tracks and altitudes requires a bike that works well in both high and low RPM, giving progressive and sustained power in any situation. The KTM 450 minimizes pilot fatigue on longer off-road trips, particularly in comparison with other competitor models, due partly to the specialized WP suspension system and the design of the reinforced steel chassis. With the KTM 450 EXC obstacles will seem minimized – even in the dunes and irregular tracks and trails you will come across on our tours in Morocco and Andorra.

4 new bikes being added to our fleet this autumn – KTM 450 EXC-F
Every year we ( MOTOAVENTURES) renew part of our fleet so as to maintain the quality of our motorbikes for you to enjoy. This year we have replaced 4. They are all KTM 450 EXC and John and I have just delivered them to Morocco ready for the coming Morocco seasons and Andorra next year.
This model has again – as is normal with KTM – been upgraded on the previous model, mainly in the front and rear suspensions. Some adjustments in the WP forks and the single PDS shock absorber increasing the bike’s capability to cushion impacts, as well as some improvements in the radiator protectors to allow a better airflow, important in the sandy/dusty desert of Morocco.
