Wow! Just wow!
What an unbelievable array of experiences we have just had. MotoAventures have done it again… From the awe inspiring views of Victoria Falls to the majestic Fish Eagles of lake Malawi. Throughout the journey I felt completely immersed in the ‘real Africa’.
Meticulously planned by John and Su, whilst simultaneously allowing a relaxed atmosphere, I knew we were in safe hands. MotoAventures is a genuine family run business and has managed to maintain a real personalised feel to its tours and adventures.
All of the excursions were a long way from the tourist trap you often find in Africa, and had a feeling of exclusivity. Every lodge we stayed in was top notch in terms of quality and charm.
The special moments never stopped coming…. A river cruise through the rapids on the Zambezi and getting up close and personal at the Elephant café on the banks of the river; walking freely alongside a family of White Rhino’s near Cecil Rhodes’ gravesite; sitting alongside and quietly watching a pack of rare painted dogs sleeping off their meal, or a leopard in a tree right above our open vehicle, gorging herself on her latest catch, were just a very small sample of what we saw and did as we made our way “around” Lake Kariba from Zimbabwe through Mozambique, Malawi, Zambia and back!
A truly magical experience with a great bunch of people that I will never forget. I cannot recommend their trips highly enough!

Warm Heart of Africa – September 2019
I always dreamed of knowing Africa on a motorcycle. Crossing borders, living different cultures, seeing incredible landscapes, unique animal life, while living the adventure of a life time!
It finally happened! This was already my second trip to Africa with Motoaventures. It was amazing. Su and John really know what they are doing. A trip through Africa, thoroughly well organised but still filled with adventure. T.I.A! (This is Africa!) Really breathtaking landscapes, incredible friendly people, overwhelming animal life in their natural habitats, fantastic lodges surrounded by nature, far away from the tourist crowds……. and always on a motorbike!
An experience I will never forget! I truly recommend!
